Over the years I have come across and lost many a good windows screen saver. Please look through this collection of ones that please me and download any you like the look of. All screen savers are for Windows and have been tried on Windows 2000. The ones shown here are purely for pleasure. All downloads have been tested for viruses using Sophos.
Download of Air Traffic Control from http://www.furball.com		This screen saver simulates an air traffic control radar display including audio communications between controllers and pilots.
Download of Aliens on Skateboards from http://www.lizardworks. com/screensavers.html		The Aliens skate across the screen at varying speeds. There are two options for the background. Blue as shown or the normal Desktop.
Download of Bullets from http://www.fourmilab.ch/bullets/		My screen grab program will only run for 30 seconds before it grabs the screen so the image shown is a bit sparse. The sound effects with this screen saver are varied. Just the thing for when feeling aggressive or relieving the frustration!
Download of Chickens from http://www.renegadechickens .com/chickens/Home.htm		I keep coming back to this one. It deposits eggs all over the screen. There is a lovely Chicken(and more) that wanders across the screen every so often. It can be a good idea to turn the sound down or off.
Download of Cockroach from POW! productions		A cockroach runs across the screen. Simple and effective! with certain colleagues / friends / family. Good for occasional use!
Download of Cows from Diversified Computer Services		This screen saver has the same authors as Chickens. The sound effects are the best part in my opinion.
Download of Dino Shred		Dinosaur runs across the screen and jumps up then slides down the desktop slowly shredding it. Has a sound feature that is very low volume on my PC.
Download of Earth Screen Saver from John Walker		The view of earth can be selected from daylight, nighttime, the moon or above your location. I have shown it here from above the UK.
Download of Flying Eyeballs from The Virtual Software Store		The screen is filled with these eyeballs with wings. The number of eyeballs and one or two other settings can be changed.
Download of Geckos		These little creatures crawl across the screen with frequent pauses. There is an option for jungle sounds as well as the ability to change the size and speed of the geckos.
http://www.f1jordan.com		This saver is informative and is different from the one I downloaded a few months ago. It looks like the Jordan F1 Racing team go for a new one every few months. As a result it is probably best to download the newest one straight from the Jordan F1 site. Look under 'stuff' on their sites menu bar.
Download of MonsterMash from grannybeargraphix.com		As a child of the sixties and seventies I like the sound track for this. The skeleton dances to the music.
Download of Pooh & Tigger from www.adders.org/freeware		Nice and simple screen saver though it does get a bit more hectic when Tigger puts in an appearance.
Download of South Park 3D from www.uselesscreations.com		For South Park fans this is essential! The sound bits are good listening as well. All round a good find.
Download of EYECON from The Guide Dogs for the Blind		A cute little screensaver from the 'Guide Dogs for the blind Charity'. The EyeKon is ideal for people who regularly use their computers for long periods of time. As, not only will the “Screen Break” remind you to give your eyes a rest from looking at the screen, it will also tell you a number of serious and not so serious “eye facts”. Go on give it a try!
